Dezeen Showroom: multidisciplinary designer Boris Berlin has created a group of seating for Danish model Ca’lyah named Tranquebar, which incorporates chairs and stools adorned with embroidered patterns.

The seating within the Tranquebar assortment characteristic round picket seats and backrests with quilted cushions which have been stitched with ornate designs.

Copenhagen-based designer Berlin was knowledgeable by journeys to Tamil Nadu, India, when designing the gathering, the place he studied “the richness in colors, patterns, and extremely expert artisanship”.
