Many lists are written and checked off in December: infinite to-do lists, neverending grocery lists, hopeful wishlists (checked twice, clearly), and, most significantly, media retailers’ “Better of Lists” flung within the faces of unassuming readers on the finish of yearly. And whereas some lists are extra favorable than others, emotion-influenced, superlative type lists sit on the prime of my private checklist of “prime sorts of lists.”
Right this moment, in honor of “better of” lists circling each nook of the web, I’ve made a listing of superlatives for ten of my favourite typefaces from the previous 12 months. Some are daring, others are playful, and every stood out and made an influence for one purpose or one other, proving the significance of diversified design.
