Studio Okami Architecten has designed a villa in Antwerp, Belgium, that includes a mirrored facade that it says “disappears because of the reflection of the forest”.
Named Beli Home, the house replaces a Sixties villa and attracts on the model of the unique construction.
The mirrored exteriors are made out of reflective aluminium which, in accordance with the studio, is roofed in condensation for a lot of the day to assist birds keep away from the panels.
Commenters weren’t offered on the house. One described it as “a magnet for birdstrikes” and one other as “irresponsible”.
